LEON

A plush chameleon on Ethereum. Every swap feeds his pot. Every 33rd swap he catches one of four flies, and that fly decides what the pot does. His mood picks the favourite.

Tap him to make him hop, or drag him by the back or tail. Tap a fly to see what it does.

Round 127 · ExcitedBurn

    What a trade costs

One flat fee on the ETH side of every buy and sell. Nothing else is skimmed off.

    3% in total
The pool charges no LP fee of its own, so the hook's 3% is the whole cost of a trade. Buying through Programmable's site adds their 0.3% routing fee on top.
2% feeds the flies, 1% keeps him running
Two thirds go to the pot for the next catch. One third pays for the keeper bot and upkeep. The split is fixed in the contract.

    Buying LEON with 1 ETH

Every 33 swaps, he catches a fly

Each swap of at least 0.0033 ETH adds a stitch. When the row reaches 33, the round closes and its whole pot goes to one of the four flies. His mood makes one of them the favourite.

21 of 33 stitches in this round.

Nobody knows the fly in advance

The fly is picked by mixing a secret committed before launch with the hash of a block that doesn't exist yet when the round closes. Not traders, not validators, not us.

If anything goes wrong, it burns

If the secret isn't revealed within an hour, or the block hash expires, that round's pot goes straight to Burn. Swaps under 0.0033 ETH still pay the fee but don't add a stitch, so nobody can rush a round with dust.

      His mood picks the favourite

When a round closes, LEON reads the market. His mood gives one fly a 55% chance. The other three keep 15% each, so the catch is still a surprise.

      Excited

The average price is up 10% or more on the last round.

Favourite: Burn. He burns while it's hot.

      Hungry

The average price is down 10% or more on the last round.

Favourite: Dip buyback. He waits for a cheaper bite.

      Busy

The price stays within 10%, but volume is at least 1.3× the usual.

Favourite: Full-range. A busy pool gets deeper.

      Calm

A quiet round: the price stays within 10% and volume is normal.

Favourite: Holder rewards. Quiet rounds pay the holders.

      Averages, not single trades

He compares the average price of the round's counted swaps with the round before, and the round's volume with the average of recent rounds. One big trade at the end can't flip his mood.

      Rules nobody can tune

The 10% price moves, the 1.3× volume and the 55/15/15/15 odds are written into the hook. The fly itself is still picked by the committed secret and a future block hash.

      Four flies, four outcomes

The moment he catches a fly, the pot goes to work in the same transaction. Nobody can see which fly it is until the buy is already done, so there's nothing to front-run.

      Burn fly

      – ETH

      Nothing to pull

The things people usually worry about with a new token, answered by how the contracts work.

      Launch liquidity
Locked in the launch transaction inside an initializer contract that has no owner and no withdraw function. Nobody, including the developer, can remove it.
      Team tokens
None. All 1,000,000,000 LEON went into the pool on day one.
      Fees
3% of the ETH side, split 2% pot and 1% keeper upkeep. Fixed in the hook, no admin switch.
      Mood rules
The price and volume thresholds and the 55/15/15/15 odds are constants in the hook. Nobody can tune them after launch.
      The pot
Only the hook spends it, and only on the fly he caught. Holder rewards go to the LEON contract for holders to claim. Nobody can withdraw the pot or send it anywhere else.
      Who runs it
Our keeper bot is the only address that can trigger a catch. It can't withdraw anything, only put the pot to work.
      Admin
The owner can only replace the keeper address or the secret chain. There is no switch for fees, rules or funds.
      Launch
Stamped by Programmable on Ethereum, with the deployed code matched byte for byte to its published source.
